Somerset have agreed a one-year deal with 22-year-old pace bowler James Hayman after he impressed in a second-team trial.”We invited him to play in the second team after Jason Kerr saw him play in a friendly and we both agreed he looked very, very promising,” explained Brian Rose, the county’s director of cricket.”His physique is very good and he’s 6ft 2 or 6ft 3ins tall and he has excellent shape and line to his bowling.”
