da pinnacle: Fulham have now submitted a £35m offer for an “incredible” new forward, who is in line to become their club-record signing.

Cottagers could be set to break transfer record again

da betobet: The Cottagers smashed their transfer record in the summer transfer window, signing Kevin from Shakhtar Donetsk in a £34.6m deal, but the Brazilian hasn’t exactly made a flying start to life in the Premier League.

The forward is yet to open his account in the top flight, registering just two assists in his opening 18 matches, although he did manage to get on the scoresheet in the 3-1 FA Cup victory against Middlesbrough, which is an encouraging sign.

Marco Silva’s side have risen to 11th in the Premier League table, having lost just one of their last seven games, which came against Leeds United last time out, succumbing to a 1-0 defeat at Elland Road.

Despite the west Londoners’ form, they remain keen on strengthening their squad this month, and bringing in fresh options in attack is on the agenda, with Deportivo La Coruna star Yeremay Hernandez being named as a target earlier in January.

However, there is also an option from much closer to home, with Fabrizio Romano revealing Fulham have now made a £35m offer for Manchester City forward Oscar Bobb, and talks over a deal for the Norwegian are currently ongoing.

The Cottagers are eager to secure Bobb’s signature on a permanent basis, but there could be competition for his signature, as Borussia Dortmund are also keen, and the German club are set to decide whether they will make a bid in the near future.

Bobb could be "incredible" long-term signing for Fulham

With Kevin not exactly flourishing in the Premier League, it could make sense to bring in a new winger this month, and there are indications the Man City ace could be worth shelling out a club-record transfer fee to sign.

Lauded as “incredible” by City boss Pep Guardiola, the 22-year-old is a remarkable dribbler of the ball, averaging 3.39 successful take-ons per 90 over the past year, which ranks him in the top 1%, compared to his positional peers.

The 16-cap Norway international has fallen down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium, as a result of breaking his leg, which meant he missed almost the entirety of the 2024-25 campaign.

However, the 22-year-old has impressed when given the opportunity this season, grabbing an assist in a 4-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers on the opening day, before going on to set up Erling Haaland’s goal in Norway’s 4-1 win against Italy in November.

With Antoine Semenyo joining Man City, however, Bobb’s game time could become even more limited, so he needs to move on this month, and given his age, the winger could be a fantastic signing for Fulham.
